About the Fund
Team San Francisco's Athlete's Assistance Fund, provides scholarship grants to Team members who otherwise might not be able to attend the Gay Games. Every four years, the fund is distributed to eligible Team members. Applications for the grants can be found on this website (beginning January 2009). The application explains the financial criteria for eligibilty. A percentage of our Team SF membership dues are deposited into the Athlete's Assistance Fund and special fundraising events are held each year to increase the available funds.

Your Support is Appreciated
We encourage friends & supporters of Team San Francisco & the Gay Games to make donations to the Athlete's Assistance Fund. The more money we have, the more local athletes in need will be able to go to Gay Games VII. Donations to Team San Francisco are 100% tax deductible. We even accept donations via Paypal so this means individuals may use their credit card to accumulate frequent flyer miles while helping an athlete in need.
